I am reading Jonathan Safran Foer’s second novel, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (Chelsea, thanks for suggesting it--which English class did you read it for? What else was on that reading list?) Again, I am not yet 100 pages in, and I am smitten. I love the way he writes when he writes the way I love. I hope, I hope, I hope this sweet and fresh character and this beautifully struck chord keep on right up till the end.
