Dumped Clapton. I didn't want to go through his whole life again. How many brandy and lemonades can one person take?
Moved The Giver off my stack, too. Sorry Insomniac and Company. Perhaps another face-to-face book talk in the spring?
This Trail of Crumbs is a really good memoir. I'm halfway through, now. It's travel; it's food; it's well written. Some of the recipes that end each chapter are a little jarring, though. She'll end on a sad note, like, "So there I was, an orphan on a bench in South Korea, just three years old, by myself." And then go, "The best way to make Aunt Lulu's Three Alarm Chili. . ." Well, okay, maybe not exactly like that, but you get the picture.
And wrapping up Jerome David's Nine Stories. I'm rating them a couple of posts ago (Nov 1st) in case anybody wants to pick a fight.

We would never pick fights, Christine. We are a well-behaved peoples.
I dunno, I might pick a fight about Christine taking the Giver of her stack. Nah, it's OK, I'll forgive you Christine. We're reading "Gathering Blue", another Lois Lowry.
