A Nerd by Any Other Name
Yesterday, my friends Danika and Erin came over to read aloud A Midsummer Night's Dream with me. Erin and I had read Romeo and Juliet together a while ago and really enjoyed it. We don't take certain characters, we just alternate reading parts as they come up. This was even more interesting with three readers. It went really quickly, under two hours, including interruptions from telemarketers. What will we read next? I'm thinking Hamlet.

Yo, check it. First Oberon was all, "Girl, why you do me like that?" And Titania was like, "Boy, please, you are disturbin' my flow." Then Lysander and Demetrius were all up in Helena's grill, like all, "Hey, shawty, holla at me!" And Hermia was like, "Oh, whey-faced cur, I knowest thou didst not!" And then she was gonna take off her shoes and her earrings, but Lysander held her back. And then Puck was like, "Fools, peace out. Word to your mortal."
Yeah. It was straight up crazy.
That's exactly how I remember it.
Wha?
I think you all trippin'!
Hey Don--the new vernacular is now "tweakin'" rather than "trippin'." I believe the switch happened between fall '07 and spring '08.
So I believe Don meant to say that "y'all be tweakin'."

Lisa--
I still say 'trippin.'
But I'm old school. Yo.
P.S. Danika, You're RIGHT, she IS like me!!!
And I'm obviously just not hip enough for this crowd....
All of my street cred is stolen. You can tell because I wear my pants at my waist.
I blame the poor economy and a recent severe overexposure to Flight of the Conchords.
