The gathering for the Slaughterhouse-Five book talk was small: Insomniac and Son, Tyler, Lisa, and Don.
In Don's words:
The book was, surprisingly for one so respected, almost universally disliked by the group. Some found little bits to take some enjoyment in, but for the most part, all were happy it is now in the rear view mirror. We did decide to read Flowers for Algernon next.
Perhaps we can get together mid-August?
Looks like Lisa already finished it. I haven't read it since high school but know it is a quick read and have a copy of my own.
Danika, when do you get home? Will you join us for this one? Who else is in?

Hmmm...I'd love to read it - it's been years. Wasn't there a movie based on the book called "Charlie" or am I on the wrong track?
We plan on reading "Flowers...." and should be there, depending on the date.
