Reading The Liar's Club for the group and The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler for Film & Lit. So far, I like it very much. I have a fondness for smart-mouthed characters and good visuals, and Chandler does both very well.

I thought that after finishing White Night I'd be caught up with Dresden Files, but it turns out I still have one more book to go.

Nickled and Dimed - it's been out for awhile, but a good read. Remind me never to work for Merry Maids or Denny's.

Need to read Liar's Club for the group. Should have been reading H.P. Lovecraft for the library group, but I'm thinking that's not going to happen. Lovecraft's never been a favorite of mine, anyway.
Instead, I am beginning The Good Soldier, by Ford Madox Ford (formerly Ford Madox Brown; evidently he liked his first name so well he changed it to his last name, too . . . don't ask me). Another one to throw in the mental dustbin with Lord Jim and Mrs. Dalloway. Not my type of book. And I just read a series of poems by the Earl of Rochester that give new meaning to the word "pornographic." I've got another book I need to start for my third class, but honestly I don't even remember what right now. And, in the spirit of being a good student, I started a new manga series, upon the recommendation of a student from the high school, called Tsubasa. Very good. And somebody in one of my classes wants me to start reading Y: The Last Man. My literary plate's feeling a little full just now.

I'm working through the Liars' Club and hoping everyone's enjoying it. My reading has been pretty slow lately; school has been keeping me pretty busy. I'm also coming down w/ some sort of cold. Last night I thought I'd go to bed early and read a bit before hitting the hay, and I fell asleep mid-sentence.
