I often have a few books with bookmarks in them at once. I enjoy classics more than contemporary works of fiction, often read historical fiction, and love to get glimpses into other people's lives by reading memoirs and biographies.
cool pic! I can't wait to see the others. Have you ever been in an amazing bookstore? Memorable? Powells is big, but I don't think it's amazing-looking...
I wish I could remember the name, but there's a neat little bookstore (used, I believe) in Chicago with a resident cat and tons of small rooms and nooks and crannies...I'm sure there's more than one of those, actually, heh. But I thought it was cool.
I also like the two-story B&N in Naperville, but that obviously doesn't hold a candle to any of the places featured on the website.
I like the B&N in Naperville, too. I mean, it has an escalator!!!There was a bookstore in SF called Green Apple that was cozy and stuffed with books, but no amazing architecture...

Wow, that looks amazing! If I ever go to Spain, I will try to find some cool bookstores.

I wish I could make the URL a link for you all. Do cut and paste the address and check out the other photos.
I-I thought I'd only dreamed of places like that! It's *sniff* so beautiful!

I've been to the Elliott Bay Bookstore in Seattle. That's pretty big, and cool.
