Just finished "Realityland" (about Walt Disney World) and it wasn't half bad. Am now simul-reading "Mean and Lowly Creatures" (about collecting snakes and frogs in Africa) and "The Graveyard Book" (Neil Gaiman's Newberry-winning kid's book. And liking both so far. What HAS become of me?
Also am about to give a first listen to the new U2 CD. Will report on it's (hopefully) awesomeness soon.

A post! I was getting so tired of my own voice.

"Mean and Lowly Creatures" - excellent title.

After the Carthusian book and Verne, I am hoping to read Darwin's "The Voyage of the Beagle" - my father tells me it's an excellent read, full of travel and science. Anyone read it? Interested?

Sophia, I think my dad read Beagle, but maybe just a biography with a similar title. Whatever it was, I think he enjoyed it.
Having caught the Martian death flu, I am reading lots of Calvin and Hobbes, because I can focus on it. I also read Death: The Time of Your Life, a supplement to Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, three times in a row. Maybe I'll be back to reading real stuff next week.

Reading The Pillowman for Brit. Drama and it is giving me massive 1984 flashbacks.

Not a text, but the Coraline soundtrack is abso-flippin'-lutely made of concentrated win and awesome. Just, y'know, for the record.

Cool. Don might also like to report back on his opinion of U2's new album.

I am seriously sick of not reading books, so I'm gonna try to read The Kite Runner over spring break, so help me.
