Just finished the 2nd of 3 discs. He's traveled south from the North Pole as close to the 30 degree line of longitude as possible. He has three African countries to go.

Not as good as his original show, Around the World in 80 Days, because there is no rush, no timetable. But he's still fun to watch, and we all enjoy seeing his trips.

Too bad the shows were made about 20 years before reality tv. I wish that the interactions with him and his crew were shown. In the first program (80 Days), he meets up with a friend, Basil Pao, in China. I know that Pao went on to travel with Palin for the rest of his trips as photographer. Would like to keep seeing Palin and Pao together.

Nice cover graphics - I would like to see his " 80 Days" program. In "20,000 Leagues" Nemo takes them on a harrowing trip below an iceberg to the very south pole. On the way out, they get stuck in a underwater ice chamber that is slowly crushing the Nautilus, and almost suffocate.
