I often have a few books with bookmarks in them at once. I enjoy classics more than contemporary works of fiction, often read historical fiction, and love to get glimpses into other people's lives by reading memoirs and biographies.
Mop Men (about the fellas who clean up crime scenes...tres messy job) and History of Britian: At The Edge of the World 3500 BC-1603 AD. Just finished Water for Elephants, was really sad when it was done. Sometimes you just don't want to leave the places you've been...
Re-reading Annie on My Mind, and enjoying it again. Should start The Sketch-Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gentleman, but my copy is tiny and old and I don't want to make the pages fall out, so I haven't yet.

I loved Water for Elephants! Ending was unexpected, but tidy.
Started re-reading the Diana Gabaldon Outlander series. She has a 7th book due out this fall. Very much looking forward to it!
