I often have a few books with bookmarks in them at once. I enjoy classics more than contemporary works of fiction, often read historical fiction, and love to get glimpses into other people's lives by reading memoirs and biographies.
I liked it. He can describe an everyday moment like no one else. He finds the big ideas of life in the mundane.
But, I think The Anthologist is the better of the two books. It has that same level of attention given to description, is about POETRY, and has a bigger, better point to make ultimately.
