Jim and I rented Anvil: The Story of Anvil this weekend. It is the story of one of the original speed metal groups who never made it big but never stopped trying. It shows them in their mundane day jobs and rocking out on the weekends in local bars to devoted fans. We follow them on a doomed tour of Europe where they play in large spaces to just a few people. It is funny, funny, but the whole time we were truly rooting for them. And it ends on a high note. Their new album, This is Thirteen, is widely available. Buy it. Please.

Um... you first.
I have to avoid coming to this page for a while, Christine, because I keep finding myself staring at that dude's stomach hair every time I load your page. It's like one of those optical illusion swirly things.
