I often have a few books with bookmarks in them at once. I enjoy classics more than contemporary works of fiction, often read historical fiction, and love to get glimpses into other people's lives by reading memoirs and biographies.
Thank you, Christine, for letting me use your blog as a way to pass along books. Most of mine are trade paper (I donate hard covers to the library & I can't read mass market: old eyes) and in pretty good condition. If you see a title you like, let me know & we can arrange a drop-off, perhaps at a favorite local book store.
Here are some titles: Non-fiction:
Prize Winner of Defiance, OH Buffalo in the House Stiff Complications American Plague Salt The Family that Couldn't Sleep Zombie Survival Guide Sex Lives of Cannibals (travel, not porn) Lucky
Fiction: Memoirs of a Geisha Outlander,Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, Fiery Cross,Breath of Snow & Ashes (TC), Echo in the Bone (TC) Julie & Julia Kindred Midwives, Law of Similars, Trans-Sister Radio Fine Balance Red Tent Time Traveller's Wife Where the Heart Is Moloka'i Life of Pi Slammerkin
@Lisa: Great! I'll bring your books in when I bring in ones for Martha & DRD.
@Christine: I'd love Under the Tuscan Sun! I'm actually trying to lighten my bookshelves, so I'll consider it a loan. I'll drop Prize Winner by on Wednesday morning.
I picked up my package on Saturday, Mary! Thank you so much! I can't wait to curl up and read them! (after I get done playing with the slide rule, haha)

Mary has some books to pass on and wondered if you all might like a crack at them. She'll post details below. And, yes, I know it's Tuesday.
