I'm still reading Catch-22. Some books, I can't put down. For some reason, this is a book I can't seem to pick back up. I started it a couple weeks ago and I'm still less than halfway through it. Some parts are really funny, affecting, and/or enjoyable, but it just doesn't "flow" for me, and there are a few too many characters to keep track of that we never really get to know. I'm still going to try to get through it though.

Working on the book for the public library discussion, The January Dancer. It's okay, but I'm not exactly loving it yet. Also picking at Bill Bryson's Mother Tongue upon occasion, and am loving that.

Finished Jim Butcher's 6th and last Codex Alera book--awesome. Read one of my daughter's birthday gifts, When You Reach Me, and really liked it. Topped it off with some romance by Lisa Kleypas (guilty pleasure).

Reading "Age of Wonder" - so interesting! I am on the second person - William Herschel - amateur astronomer - who is credited with first seeing Uranus (hee hee). His sister, Caroline, is also very impressive. Herschel was also and primarily a musician, and composed symphonies, etc.
