Stiff, by Mary Roach! Enjoying it so much. Once again put aside Bill Bryson's The Mother Tongue to pick this up. It's not that Mother Tongue's boring; far from it. It just isn't quite gripping.

I can't wait to start reading Midwives and The Life of Pi (the books Mary gave me), but I'm still working on Catch-22 and still occasionally paging through The Math Book. Also, I just picked up Brainiac by Ken Jennings out of curiosity and have started that, and I also snagged the Alec Baldwin memoir ($1.34 including tax--dot sale) about his divorce and custody battle, and I've started that too. So I'm pretty scattered, but trying to whittle away at all four. It's slow-going now that the semester is in full swing though.

Danika, if you like Mary Roach, definitely check out Bonk (or is it Boink?). It's about the science of sex, and it's insanely absorbing. Her style is just awesome...interesting as heck, while simultaneously making you snort out loud. Which is awkward in public.

Not that I'd know or anything.

^It is Bonk, and I enjoyed it too, Heather, :). I second the recommendation!

I actually read Bonk first--had it on my iPod to read during my graduation ceremony! I suppose that made my reactions to all the speeches begging for money a little odd, but I enjoyed it :)
