I often have a few books with bookmarks in them at once. I enjoy classics more than contemporary works of fiction, often read historical fiction, and love to get glimpses into other people's lives by reading memoirs and biographies.
Never Suck A Dead Man's Hand, about a civilian CSI. She's hilarious, and while I'm glad that I can't actually smell what she describes, I do wish I could go on a ride along with her. Awesome.
Nope, this is the first thing ive read by him. Ive watched plenty of his tv shows though, but it seems like he wasnt quite the ass he is now when he wrote this book, haha.
Ugh. Just finished Animal Farm, again. I've read it several times over the years, but this time I listened to it on cd. The fella reading it did a fantastic job, made it quite an enjoyable listen. The story, however, is so damn heartbreaking. It really gets under my skin, more than it ought. Ugh.
@Ben: I loved Kitchen Confidential! I had it in TP and still have an audio copy. He's an ass, maybe yes, but informative & entertaining.
@ Heather & Christine: I read a review of Never Suck a Dead Man's Hand on bn.com. It does sound like it's right up my alley. I'll see if DeKalb Library has a copy.
You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
I'm inclined to think that was spam. It reads like a true comment, but could be left on almost any blog--plus it has some telltale spelling and grammatical errors.
Christine, you should express more your delete button. But that is just form my point of view.

Dropped Mainspring after finishing only three chapters by the night of the discussion, and picked up Gone with the Wind, which I am absolutely loving.
Nice!
Reading Fatal System Error by Joseph Menn. Nonfiction about cyberwarfare. Interesting.
Let the record show I responded this week.
Thank you for gracing us with your presence, Don.
Look, Don writes on my blog again, and the earth moves.
I feel quite certain of the connection.
Reading Gone With the Wind? Cool. I bet that's a fun read - nice epic story. I am still reading "Paris to the Moon" - funny and totally enjoyable.
Gone With the Wind is one of those stories you can read again and again. Loved the movie, but the film does not begin to compare to the book.

Ben, have you read him before? Sounds like a good fit for you.
Mary, you see what Heather's reading? Right up your alley!
Heather, your move on Facebook Scrabble!

Ben, how could he be?

Whatever, "Anonymous".
This blog is working just fine.
Of course that too is just "form" my point of view.

Thought I'd leave it up to "keep it real" here.
Love the Don and Lisa posts!
^It's not real if it's spam! Although, it is funny regardless. :)
