Maria woke up just before midnight last night, and instead of tucking her back in and helping her get right back to sleep, I suggested that we read one of our favorite books together. So for the first time ever, Maria was awake to see her birthday roll in, and as it did, we were reading Bread and Jam for Frances.

Happy belated b-day to Maria! I hope she is feeling a bit better by now about being 10.
Thank you both. She is feeling a little better about getting older, but not much. She's one of those very sensitive kids who just doesn't want to grow up. But her birthday came and went, and she saw that nothing changed overnight.
Interesting article and statistics you have gathered here. Yes, I agree that digital technology HAS taken over the postproduction world. But I really do not see anything wrong about that ;) In fact, I kind of like it! It's a new way of presenting!
