- I often have a few books with bookmarks in them at once. I enjoy classics more than contemporary works of fiction, often read historical fiction, and love to get glimpses into other people's lives by reading memoirs and biographies.

I'm reading Demetri Martin's "This is a Book." I'm not very familiar with Martin, but apparently he does some work for various shows on Comedy Central. The book has already made me laugh out loud many times. Even the short section "How to Read This Book" kinda cracked me up:

I just finished reading aloud Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to Maria and a friend for a little summer class. No Jabberwocky, chess pieces or Tweedle-Dee or Tweedle-Dum. They are all in Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, which we won't be reading.

I'm about halfway through Gaiman's Anansi Boys, and enjoying it very much. Been in a Neil Gaiman sort of mood lately, which is probably fairly worrying.
