^^You're cracking me up, Christine.

My reading has been so slow lately that I don't have anything new to report! I'm still reading Under the Tuscan Sun. All of their restoration projects sound so daunting, labor-wise and expense-wise. Their new, slow-burn lives in Italy sound amazing, but I don't think I have the funds or intestinal fortitude to ever do what they did.

Just finished Old Man's War for the library book discussion. A little on the improbable and warm and fuzzy side, but fun, I suppose. Have also started the first book of The Alexandria Quartet, Justine, by Lawrence Durrell, which is taxing my brain to its limits but is very very good (Christine, you want poetic, lyrical language dripping from every page, this is it). And also need to get past page three of So You Want to be an Interpreter. Perhaps if I schedule my test this will help.

Just finished Keeping the House, by Ellen Baker. Damn good story, absolutely fascinating look at life for women in the first half of the twentieth century, rather meh ending.

Still working on America's Women: 400 Years of Dolls, Drudges, Helpmates & Heroines. Also reading RegrEtsy, because dayum, it's funny.
