The girls and I watched this documentary last night. It is as beautiful as I had hoped. Four babies in four different countries and cultures from their first days to their first steps. We were a little uncomfortable at first with the danger some of them seemed to be in on a daily basis (Don't put that rock in your mouth! Get that baby out of the group of wandering calves! Don't put your wrist in the dog's mouth, baby!), but once we calmed down and saw that no baby was going to get hurt, we enjoyed it greatly. It really shows that people all over the world are just people. And that babies are endlessly fun to watch.

I think there's been some misconceptions about me. I love babies. I just never seem to be able to finish one.
Ooh, how the mighty have fallen! Stealing Chris's lines?
Don!
I'm guessing we both borrowed from similar sources.
@Don: I hear they're good served with vegetables.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but wish they had filmed a baby from an Islamic family. The overall message of unity as a species, and beauty in the differences between us would have had additional impact.
