I kinda skimmed, breezed, and skipped through this book, so it's mostly my fault that at the end of it I still don't understand why this lovely woman who won a show on Food Network, has a supportive and loving husband and two healthy children, and who got to spend months with her family traveling and eating in France is so unhappy. I think I missed something.

Just Finished
I kinda skimmed, breezed, and skipped through this book, so it's mostly my fault that at the end of it I still don't understand why this lovely woman who won a show on Food Network, has a supportive and loving husband and two healthy children, and who got to spend months with her family traveling and eating in France is so unhappy. I think I missed something.

You didn't miss anything. She is just a typical reflection of our current culture. That is, self-centered, overly entitled and whiny.
